If you’re sick and tired of politics, you are not alone.

A new survey shows 1 in 4 Americans have tuned out when it comes to this year’s elections.

AudienceSCAN, a division of SalesFuel,  recently conducted research of more than 15,000 U.S. consumers and in addition to surveying their purchase habits, also looked at their attitudes towards this election.

More than 22 percent of them self-described as “completely turned off by politics” although many of them admitted to researching the candidates.

Indy Politics spoke with SsalesFeul CEO C. Lee Smith for some perspective on this issue.

You can hear his comments in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.  It runs under 12 minutes.
