WIBC’s Eric Berman reports that Indiana won’t pass a hate crimes law this year.

The bill allowing longer sentences for hate crimes has made progressively less headway for three years. This time, President Pro Tem David Long says Senate Republicans couldn’t come to a consensus on what the bill should look like, and leaders decided not to hold a vote in the committee which had approved the bill the last two years.
