Rafael Cruz, the father of Presidential candidate Ted Cruz,  is coming to Indiana next week.

Cruz, who is also a Texas pastor, will be a guest of Indiana Family Action, the social conservative group that fought for the amending the state constitution to ban same-sex marriage and fought against LGBT protections in the state’s civil rights code this past session.

Cruz will be in Indianapolis as well as northern Indiana Tuesday through Friday.

According to organizer, Curt Smith, Cruz will also hold a private, off-the-record conversation on Indy’s north side either Thursday or Friday evening.

Smith says Cruz will be here to stress the importance of voting in the May 3rd primary and labels the event as “voter education” and says the visit does not imply support for Cruz or an endorsement over Trump or Kasich.
