The spokesman for Visit Indy, the agency that helps drive tourism in Indianapolis, says while the city did have a record year of convention business in 2015, the debate over RFRA made it much more difficult than it should have been.

Chris Gahl  says Indy lost about $60 million in convention business during the debate over the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, however he thinks it is possible for the city to recover.
