Indiana lawmakers were somewhat shocked to find out at this morning’s State Budget Committee Meeting that while revenues stayed mostly flat, Medicaid expenditures were expected to increase by $1 Billion dollars.
Budget reversions and an increase in the state’s Medicaid population were mostly responsible for the increase.
