Former Indiana Congressional 7th District candidate Gabriel Whitley was arrested today.
Gabriel Whitley was charged with a Class 6 Felony for intimidation.
The indictment stemmed from social media posts where he posted a photo of the home of Indy Politics editor Abdul-Hakim Shabazz and encouraged violence against him.
Whitley’s bond is $2500 and includes GPS monitoring.
In Indiana, the penalty for a Level 6 felony can range from six months to two and a half years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
