An Indiana woman has gone public with disturbing allegations against Nathan Peternel, a close friend and adviser to Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith.

In a detailed account first reported by veteran Statehouse journalist Tom LoBianco of 24Sight News, the woman—identified as Paige—says Peternel pressured her and her then-19-year-old fiancé during a 2016 premarital counseling session to describe, in graphic detail, how they had sex, which body parts they used, and other intimate acts, behind closed doors in his office.

Paige initially shared her story anonymously in a YouTube video posted shortly after Peternel’s son was arrested on four felony counts of child sexual abuse and exploitation—after investigators allegedly discovered videos of Nathan Peternel and his wife engaged in sexual acts on the son’s phone.
