Another candidate has entered the race for State Treasurer, bringing the total number of declared candidates to five.
Boone County Council President Elise Nieshalla has announced she is running.
She joins Morgan County GOP Chairman Dan Elliott, former state GOP spokesman Pete Seat, Suzie Jawoworski, who served in the Trump administration, and Ft. Wayne City Clerk Lana Keesling.
In a video message to potential supporters, she says she will safeguard Indiana’s financial assets, advocate for financial literacy, support the state’s 529 College Savings plan and ensure Indiana’s investments align with “American values.”
