Calling him a conservative “who can get things done”, both the Indiana and U.S. Chambers of Commerce are throwing their support behind Congressman Todd Young in his race for the U.S. Senate against Marlin Stutzman.
The two organizations made the announcement this morning.
Officials say Young’s record on economic, fiscal and regulatory issues made him the most qualified individual to run for the seat.
Democrats attacked the endorsement saying that Young was “struggling” and “relying on his D.C. friends for a bailout.”
The most recent campaign finance reports showed Young with more than $2.6 million in cash on hand while Democrat Baron Hill had less than $400,000.
You can hear the Chambers’ endorsements in the Leon-Tailored audio above. Part one is the endorsement, while part two is questions from the media. Each segment runs under 15 minutes.
