Indy Politics talks to John Ketzenberger of the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute to see how well the House Republican budget adds up.
House Republicans are proposing a $1 increase in the cigarette tax to help indirectly fill the budget hole caused by shifting all the state sales tax on gasoline to road funding.
In addition, the budget adds more to education and funds most of Governor Eric Holcomb’s priorities.
You can hear Ketzenberger in the Leon-Tailored Audio. It runs about 14 minutes.
