Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has signed an Executive Order lifting certain restrictions on truck drivers to help in the delivery of propane gas across the state.
Holcomb’s Executive Order, at least for a few weeks, removes the cap on the number of hours of service a delivery driver hauling gas can put in.
The governor cited a fast-growing demand for propane and short inventories in his declaration.
This is not the first time for such an order; it has happened in past winters, as well.
The suspension of the rules lasts until Dec. 10, unless action is taken between now and then.
