Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb says lawmakers override of his veto regarding transgender athletes playing in girls sports will impact some companies’ decisions to relocate to the Hoosier state.
Holcomb made his comments along side Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers this week at Indiana’s Global Economic Summit.
The Governor said some companies would likely not locate to Indiana because of the veto override and for other companies it was not part of their decision process.
Holcomb said regardless, it is important that Indiana be able to attract high paying jobs and quality talent.
