An independent bid for Indiana Governor was over before it started.
Mom’s For Liberty advocate Paige Miller and Jamie Reitenour announced they were ending their campaigns for Indiana Governor and lieutenant governor, respectively.
They stated they were suspending their campaign out of “respect and admiration” for Lt. Governor and conservative pastor Micah Beckwith.
The two needed 37,000 signatures to get on the ballot. The filing deadline is July 15.
This leaves the race between Republicans Mike Braun and Micah Beckwith, Democrat Jennifer McCormick will name her choice for Lt. Governor on Thursday. Libertarian Don Rainwater selected real estate developer Tonya Hudson.
Democrats will select their nominee at their state convention on July 13.
