The city of  Indianapolis has received, on average, a complaint a day since it launched its sexual harassment reporting website on January 13.

The website, indy.speakfully.com, was created in the wake of last year’s sexual harassment scandal involving former Hogsett administration Chief of Staff Thomas Cook.  Cook is accused of harassing three female employees while he worked for the Mayor in either a governmental or political capacity.

City employees can go to the website and unanimously report sexual harassment as well as nepotism, discrimination and unfair treatment.

Once the complaint is filed, the city’s HR department investigates it.

The following was posted on the city’s website regarding indy.speakfully.com.

Speakfully is the City’s new anonymous, third-party workplace reporting platform and hotline. Speakfully is available to current and former City and County employees.

Speakfully provides both a live operator via phone, or an online portal and both are fully anonymous. Whether you choose to provide your name or not, you will still receive updates on the status of your complaint, and any resulting investigation.
