Hoosiers are once again making their voices heard at the Statehouse. With nearly 20,000 petition signatures collected in just two months, opposition to mid-decade redistricting has grown into a broad, bipartisan pushback that now includes some of the state’s most recognizable Republican figures.

As pressure mounts on Governor Mike Braun to put the brakes on the proposal, the political fight over Indiana’s maps is turning into a test of, opponents say, whether state leaders will listen to Hoosiers—or to Washington.
