At the request of the family of Sen. Jack E. Sandlin (R-Indianapolis), Sen. Aaron Freeman (R-Indianapolis) today announced the following memorial service information for Sen. Sandlin:
WHAT: State Sen. Jack E. Sandlin (R-Indianapolis) will be memorialized at the Indiana Statehouse with an escort following the event.
WHEN: Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, public visitation 9 a.m. – noon, followed by a memorial service
from noon – 12:30 p.m.
WHO: Open to the public, members of the media, colleagues and staff
WHERE: Indiana Statehouse

There will be an additional public memorial service remembering Sen. Sandlin on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 3 – 7 p.m. at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Homes, 5141 Madison Avenue Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
The graveside service will be Saturday, Sept. 30, beginning at 10 a.m. at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road Madison, Indiana 47250.
