House Speaker Brian Bosma says although there are dozens of bills that still have to be acted on before lawmakers adjourn for the 2018 session Wednesday, only a handful are a priority.
Lawmakers sine die Wednesday and Speaker Bosma says that priority list includes legislation concerning workforce development, school safety and CBD oil.
The Speaker did not seem optimistic that legislation concerning guns would make it through before the Wednesday deadline. And the speaker also noted he would ask his colleagues to approve a summer study committee concerning raising the cigarette tax as well as the age that Hoosiers could buy tobacco from 18 to 21.
You can hear Speaker Bosma in the Leon-Tailored Audio above. It runs about eight minutes.
