Newly sworn-in Center Township Constable Kenneth Allen is firing all the deputy constables hired under Denise Paul Hatch.

Allen’s office released the following statement…

“The Office of the Center Township Constable is advising all individuals appointed as deputy constables by former Constable Hatch that they are relieved of their duties, effective immediately. Any such individual still in possession of Center Township Identification Cards, Center Township Constable badges, and/or Municipal plates must return these items immediately. These items must be returned to the Center Township Constable’s Office at 300 East Fall Creek Pkwy N Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46205, by 5:00 PM on November 22, 2024.

Center Township Constable Kenneth Allen is committed to maintaining the integrity and security of all official materials related to this office and will take appropriate action against any former deputy constable failing to comply with this directive. Those actions may include pursuing criminal charges or civil penalties for unlawfully impersonating a law-enforcement officer or conversion of government property. “

Hatch was forced to step down last month after pleading guilty to felony official misconduct.
