A new poll of Hoosier Republican voters shows Donald Trump the front runner in Indiana.
The poll conducted by Bellwether Research between December 2-9 of 670 Republican and Republican-leaning voters showed Trump with 26 percent of the vote. Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz were tied at 17 percent. Dr. Ben Carson had 16 percent.
Jeb Bush had six percent. Rand Paul had three percent. Carly Fiorina and Chris Christie both had three percent of the vote. John Kaisch, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee all had one percent.
The poll also showed Trump leading with GOP men (26 percent) and GOP women (25 percent). Trump also fared better with non-college educated Republicans (30 percent) over those with a college degree (20 percent).
The same poll also showed President Barack Obama with a 38 percent approval rating.
