Newly sworn-in Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett called for cooperation in addressing the big issues facing the city including, crime, city finances and child poverty.  That sentiment was shared by Council President Maggie Lewis and Republican Leader Mike McQuillen.

In his inaugural address, Hogsett said the city’s problem can be solved, but it will not be easy and could come at a cost, quite possibly the next election.

You can hear Hogsett’s address in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.  It runs about 12 minutes.

Lewis and McQuillen made brief comments as well.
