U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch tells Indy media that is important for law enforcement to build trust with the communities its serves, not only for the health of the officers, but also the public.

Lynch was on a six-city tour of law enforcement agencies, including the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

She says healthy relationships are key to solving crime and community-police tension.

You can hear Lynch’s comments in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.  Part one includes her comments as well as U.S. Attorney Josh Minkler.    Part two is questions from the media.

The Attorney General will visit Fayetteville, North Carolina; Phoenix, Arizona; and Los Angeles, California, in the coming months.
