The two candidates for Marion County GOP Chair made their case to Republicans in the three northern townships on Tuesday night.
Natalie Goodwin and John Schmitz made their case to be the next Chair to voters from Pike, Washington and Lawrence Townships.
Topics included how they would raise money, recruit candidates and what they would do to prepare for the 2026 elections.
We spoke with Goodwin. The Leon-Tailored audio runs for about five minutes.
We did not speak with Schmitz; however, during the forum, he referred to us as a “gossip columnist” who should not be allowed to dictate the party’s agenda.
