In about 2 & 1/2 months, Indiana will be adjacent to another state with recreational marijuana.
Indy Politics recently attended a panel discussion in Illinois which has already legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes and recreational use will be legal starting in January.
The panel includes Christine Herman (NPR Illinois), Jaclyn Driscoll (ST. Louis Public Radio), & Lee Gaines (Illinois Public Media) who all covered the Illinois legislature as lawmakers there moved forward with legalizing marijuana for recreational use.
