Governor Eric Holcomb says despite recent problems with a section of the I-69 construction project, Hoosiers should not be worried about how the state will spend its road money once the gas tax goes into effect July 1.
Holcomb made his comments to the media today following the unveiling a strategic 10-year plan for Indiana’s agricultural industry.
Hoosiers will pay an extra 10-cents per gallon starting Saturday to help pay for the state’s road construction plan.
You can hear the Governor’s comments in the Leon-Tailored Audio above. They run about eight minutes.
In addition to discussing roads and agriculture, he also talks about his recent European trip to Hungary and France.
