Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett has named 26-year IMPD veteran Bryan Roach to head the Department.
Roach replaces Troy Riggs who left IMPD last year. He is a 26-year veteran.
Roach says his three top priorities are protecting the public, openness and transparency and building community trust.
