The Indiana Republican state Central Committee has made it official. It chose State Auditor Suzanne Crouch to be the running mate of gubernatorial candidate Eric Holcomb.
Holcomb announced Crouch as his pick last week and the Committee officially voted this morning.
Crouch is a former county official and state lawmaker. She was appointed Auditor in January of 2014 and was elected to the office that November.
Crouch says she is dedicated to public service and to make life better for all Hoosiers.
Democrats took aim at the pick, saying it reaffirms Mike Pence’s failed agenda.
