The Indianapolis City-County County will spend up to $300,000 to draw new Council maps.
According to the contract signed with Ice Miller LLP, earlier this month, the council will make four monthly payments of $75,000.
The contract covers the following…
- Legal services in connection with the redistricting process.
- Technical services in connection with item 1) utilizing licensed software to draw maps reflecting Council districts in compliance with applicable laws and the direction of the Council;
- And communications and input/outreach services and meeting coordination in connection with item 1) through Engaging Solutions LLC as a subcontractor.
The agreement does not cover any litigation resulting from redistricting.
The contract runs through March 31, 2022.
