Although the city of Indianapolis has set a goal to fully open on the 4th of July, officials with the Marion County Health Department say that might not happen.
While the city has hit it’s metrics on positivity rates and the number of cases per day, Indianapolis is still falling short of of its vaccination rates; currently it is 39-percent.
Dr. Virginia Cain of the Marion County health department says they are continuing their efforts to get residents vaccinated, including mobile clinics and working with private medical practice groups.
