The city of Indianapolis and Marion County health officials are reporting a slight uptick in COVID-19 cases.
At a media briefing this morning, City-County officials reported a positivity rate of 4.1 percent and a seven-day positivity rate of 21 new cases per day.
The largest age group is 20-29, which is between 34-45 percent.
Indy Mayor Joe Hogsett says the city is increasing awareness and promoting residents to get the vaccination shot.
Public Health Director Dr. Virginia Cain says it will take about two weeks for any increase in COVID-19 positivity rates to show up from the NCAA March Madness tournament.
