The Director of Operations for Indianapolis Public Schools says students and parents will only benefit from the restructuring that is closing down one high school and turning two others into middle schools.
IPS announced this week the possible closing of Broad Ripple high school and converting Arlington and Northwest into middle schools as a way to better utilize district resources.
Numerous parents and community groups have complained about the closings, however David Rosenberg tells Indy Politics the restructuring will allow the district to offer more choices and better programs for students.
You can hear Rosenberg in the Leon-Tailored Audio above. It runs about 12 minutes.
