Trailing by six votes, Republican State Rep candidate for House District 32 Suzie Jaworowski is requesting a recount.
The election results were certified Monday.
Hamilton County Councilor Fred Glynn received 1,844 votes while Jaworowski had 1,838.
Challenger Paul Nix got 419 votes.
The Jaworowski campaign has hired Samantha Dewester, who has experience in recounts.
In an e-mail to the Indy Star, Glynn said he “was confident that this lead will hold and my campaign will maintain victory.”
