A new poll conducted and released by the nonpartisan political action committee Our Choice Coalition, reveals Hoosier attitudes towards several issues.
Although the poll revealed most Hoosiers support reproductive freedom the poll also showed…
- 52 percent of those surveyed had an unfavorable rating of Donald Trump. That number was 64 percent for Joe Biden.
- 51 percent had unfavorable views of Indiana Republicans, 48 percent thought unfavorably of Democrats
- 65 percent said they do NOT plan to vote straight ticket this November.
- 68 percent said the state was on the wrong track.
- Mike Braun had a 50 percent approval rating. Jennifer McCormick was at 17 percent.
The poll was distributed among 1,275 voters and the survey was balanced by party, gender and age. It is one of the first public in-depth surveys specifically on this issue released since the state’s near-total abortion ban went into effect in 2022 following the fall of Roe v. Wade.
