A new poll out by the Mike Downs Center for Indiana politics shows Ted Cruz and Hillary Clinton with leads in their respective races for their party’s nominations, while Todd Young has an eight-point lead over Marlin Stutzman.

The poll sampled 400 each of likely Democratic and Republican voters and had a margin of error of 4.9%.

The results were as follows…

GOP Primary

  • Ted Cruz – 44.8%
  • Donald Trump – 29 %
  • John Kasich – 13.3 %

Democratic Primary

  • Hillary Clinton – 55%
  • Bernie Sanders – 40.3%

GOP U.S. Senate Primary

  • Todd Young – 41.8%
  • Marlin Stutzman – 33.5%
  • Not Sure – 24.8%
