Obviously the big story of Tuesday was the Senate’s withdrawal of legislation that would have added sexual orientation to the state’s civil rights code and the possible fallout, but there we still a lot of other bills moving forward or dying on the vine. Here’s a quick summary of some of the major ones.

The Indiana House of Representatives moves forward with road funding plan that increases gas taxes, but lowers the income tax.  (The Statehouse File)

The Senate passed legislation eliminating the need for a prescription to acquire Narcan, which is used to treat heroin overdoses.  (RTV 6)

The Governor announced more than $200 million worth of improvements to the Indiana Toll Road.  (The Elkhart Truth)
