Although he has castigated his opponents for the votes for tax increases in Monday night’s U.S. Senate debate, in an August 2015 interview with Indy Politics, Republican Todd Rokita said he supported increasing the federal gas tax to adjust for inflation as a part of a plan to pay for roads and infrastructure.
