Indy Politics has learned that U.S. Congressman Jim Banks is preparing for a run for the U.S. Senate if Mike Braun decides to run for Governor in 2024.
Banks lost the Republican caucus race to be the new Majority Whip, so sources tell us he’s “all in for the U.S. Senate.”
Banks has been making calls and building up support.
Fifth District Congresswoman Victoria Spartz is also looking at running for the Senate.
