Indianapolis Mayoral candidate Jefferson Shreve says his public safety plan, including the gun control proposals, were based on conversations he’s had with citizens and public safety.
Shreve has come under fire for his gun control proposals which include ending permitless carry, banning “assault” style weapons and raising the age to purchase a firearm from 18 to 21.
Appearing this morning on the Kendall & Casey show on WIBC, Shreve says he spoke to residents across Marion County, including police, and put a lot of thought into his public safety plan.
Shreve also says his plan is fluid and will only improve.
You can hear Shreve on the Kendall & Casey in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.
