Indiana Congresswoman Victoria Spartz says House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is not the cause of the current dysfunction in Washington, D.C., but a symptom.
The House is virtually deadlocked over a plan to avoid a government shutdown.
Speaking to Indy Politics Thursday, Spartz says McCarthy has spent most of his life in Washington and failed on a number of issues.
When asked if he should remain Speaker, Spartz if McCarthy can’t deliver on the debt and border security, then it may be time for a new Speaker.
