State Representative Terri Austin says in exchange for lawmakers pass Sunday retail alcohol sales, there may be some new restrictions added to Indiana’s liquor laws.
Austin is a member of the Commission that is looking at rewriting Indiana’s alcohol code.
In an interview on WIBC radio she said one possibility is that in exchange for Sunday retail sales, there would have be uniform hours across the state when alcohol could be sold or there would have to be mandatory carding for all purchases, regardless of where the product is sold.

The Alcohol Commission has another hearing scheduled later this month.
