Nearly 5.5 million Hoosiers will take part in a $62 million class action settlement reached with the Indiana BMV due to overcharges.

Attorney Irvin Levin says the BMV continued to overcharge Hoosiers even though the agency had knowledge that the fees were too high.

Levin says most motorists who were overcharged will get between $1 and $50.   Levin’s firm with get nearly $7 million in legal fees.
