It looks like Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb will formally announce his re-election bid next month.
In a “Save the Date” message to supporters, the Governor’s campaign wrote…
” Join us on Saturday, July 13th. More details will come soon, but make sure to circle this date on your calendar and hold it to join in the celebration of Indiana and our state’s incredible momentum.”
A campaign official would not confirm that was the day Holcomb would announce, however, he did tell IndyPolitics to “…wait and see. It will be a big day.”
In the past, Holcomb has said he would make his re-election intent known after the 2019 session.
Recent polling had the Governor’s approval ratings between 54 and 63 percent.
