Sources tell Indy Politics the Donald Trump Presidential campaign is choosing Carly Fiorina’s former Indiana co-chair to runs its operations in the Hoosier state.
Suzie Jaworowski is expected to be named later this week as Trump’s state director for its Indiana campaign.
Jawoworski served as Fiorina’s Indiana campaign co-chair with former Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann.
She has a background in marketing and communications and worked the communications director for Sunrise Coal, LLC.
Earlier this year, recently Jawoworski filed to run for the State Senate seat being vacated by Scott Schneider but lost to John Ruckelshaus during Marion County slating.
She is from Fishers and was a member of the 2015 Lugar Series.
While no one from the campaign will comment, it is strongly believed that part of Jaworowski ‘s job will be to help rehabilitate Trump’s brand, especially after his most recent controversial comments. regarding abortion and whether women who have the procedure should be penalized.
Although there have been several polls taken in Indiana regarding the Presidential race, none of it has been made public. The last poll made public was conducted by Bellwether Research in December and it Trump ahead with 26 percent of the vote. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz had 17 percent and Ben Carson was at 16 percent.
