Republican U.S. Senate candidate Todd Young says the latest poll showing he and Democrat Evan Bayh are virtually tied demonstrates the campaign momentum is on his side.
The poll conducted by Howey Politics and WTHR-TV showed Bayh leading Young by only four points. When factoring the margin of error, the race is statistically tied. A Democratic July poll had Bayh with a 21-point lead.
Young told the media today the poll shows the momentum is in his favor and that Bayh doesn’t represent Hoosier values.
