Indiana House Speaker Brian Bosma says recent movement in the Legislature on Sunday retail alcohol sales, CBD Oil, and medical marijuana is, in part, due to a reflection Hoosiers changing attitudes to these issues.

Lawmakers this week are passing legislation that would allow for Sunday retail alcohol sales,  greatly expand access to CBD Oil and allow for a summer study committee to look at the impact of legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes.

Speaking to reporters at his weekly media availability, the Speaker said it took a while for some lawmakers to change their opinions on these issues, but that is how the process works.

You can hear the Speaker in the Leon-Tailored audio above.  He also addresses several other issues, including the recent financial turmoil impacting some Indiana school districts, efforts to bring Amazon’s second headquarters to Indiana and the state Senate taking “baby steps” on redistricting reform.
