Although teachers and their concerns dominated most of the conversation at the state legislature today, Senate President Pro Tempore Rod Bray says health care and hospital costs will likely be his chamber’s top priority next session.
A Ball State study has questioned Indiana’s hospitals and says they bear responsibility for rising costs.
Bray says they want to look at the issue. They also plan to study teacher pay, but he doubts lawmakers will reopen the budget.
You can hear Bray in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.
It runs for about seven minutes.
