Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mike Braun is telling GOP voters his two main primary opponents have a lot in common with Democratic incumbent Joe Donnelly, the man they hope to beat in November.

Braun made his comments Wednesday to the Downtown GOP, an Indianapolis-area Republican organization.

Braun says both Luke Messer and Todd Rokita are attorneys who spent most of their professional lives in the public sector, like Donnelly, while has been in the private sector growing a business.

He also told the audience that because he has been able to self-finance, he is not beholden to any lobbyist or special interest groups.

You can hear Braun in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.  It runs about 10 minutes.
