Frustrated Indiana conservatives fell short in several primary races Tuesday in their drive to push the Republican-controlled state Legislature further to the right and saw one of their movement’s leaders lose his reelection bid.  (AP Indiana)

Two incumbents failed to advance out of the May 3 Republican primary in Hamilton County, with former talk show host Greg Garrison defeating D. Lee Buckingham in the race for prosecuting attorney and Mark F. Hall defeating Steve Schwartz in the race for County Council District 3.  (The Current)

 Incumbent Rep. Bruce Borders (R-Jasonville) will be the Republican nominee in the race for House District 45. Borders has 53 percent of votes with 100 percent of precincts reporting. His opponent, fellow Rep. Jeff Ellington (R-Bloomfield), collected 47 percent of votes.  (WFIU)
