With the recent dramatic increase in Indianapolis’ crime and murder rate, Indy Politics presents a recent interview with the developers of the Citizen App, which keeps residents up to date by providing local public safety information through 24/7, real-time notifications about nearby emergencies and ongoing incidents.
The App was unveiled in Indy last month.
It alerts residents about incidents such as fires, car collisions, and searches for missing people. provide information for your own safety. The alerts are accompanied by live stories, real-time updates, and user-generated content to provide the user with situational awareness and a comprehensive picture of what’s happening around them.
