A  new poll shows a majority of Hoosier voters approve of the job Governor Eric Holcomb is doing.

That is the result of a Morning Consult poll of the nation’s governors.

The survey of more than 5800 registered voters revealed 55 percent approved of the job that Holcomb was doing while on 35 percent disapproved.  Ten percent said they had no opinion.

The poll’s margin of error was one percent.

The Governor with the highest approval rating was Phil Scott (R-Vermont) at 76 percent, while Tina Kotek (D-Oregon) had the lowest approval rating at 45 percent.
