So what do Indiana’s United States Senators think of the hold up their colleague Tommy Tuberville of Alabama has put on military promotions over the pentagon’s abortion policy?

According to Politico,  at issue is the Defense Department’s policy that reimburses troops who travel to seek abortions. Tuberville says he won’t allow the promotions — normally a very routine matter — to go through easily unless the Pentagon rescinds the policy, followed by a vote to codify the policy into law. Democrats and the administration say that’s a non-starter, an impasse that has ground the transfer of power among the nation’s highest military leaders to a halt.

Todd Young’s office and Mike Braun’s referred to recent interviews where both Senators made comments.
